Birthday Parties

PEEC offers themed birthday parties for kids ages 4-12. The parties consist of hands-on activities, games, a craft and a short hike. Programs will be adjusted to each group's age level and interests.

Parents say, "We appreciate the service and hope many more kids will have their parties there. Angelique was wonderful."

• Parties are 2 hours long, plus a half hour to set up and a half hour to clean up.
• First hour includes a nature program led by an experienced environmental educator.
• Party Host provides all food, drinks, party favors, decorations and serving ware.
• Second hour is reserved for cake and presents.
• 12 children maximum with 1 adult required for every 6 children.
• Party host must supervise children before and after the nature program, and is responsible for set-up and clean-up for their portion of the party.
• A refrigerator/freezer, sink, trash and recycling bins are available.
• Parties are $75 for PEEC members and $110 for non-members (includes a one-year PEEC membership). A $50 refundable deposit is required to cover potential cleaning costs.

Themes

	Amazing Animals Meet the animals of PEEC. Feed the turtle and fish, touch a live snake, play games and make an animal craft.
Butterfly Gardens (seasonal) Dig in the dirt to find worms, learn how a plant grows, and what kind of plants butterflies like, then plant your own flower seed to take home.
	Creepy Crawlers (seasonal) Investigate the world of bugs, spiders and snakes. Touch a live snake, check out our tarantula, hunt for insects and create a creepy craft.
Dino-Roar Take a trip back in time to the age of the dinosaurs! Find out which dinosaurs roamed New Mexico, discover how they lived and make a dinosaur craft.
	Fantastic Forts Spend time in the woods (or the snow) building a shelter with your friends and learning basic survival skills. Be prepared to get dirty!
Forest Fairies or Elves Create a miniature village, learn about flowers and their associated fairies or elves and make a fairy or elf of your own.
